Has anyone drilled these heads so you don't have to oil through the push rods.Is this even possible?

The W-2s that I know you can oil though
either the standard oiling(through the heads)
OR through the push rods.. mine are the econo
heads and I use to oil via the heads.. I then
changed over to a different set of rockers
and had to oil via the push rods.. either way
works great... I did reduce the push rod oiling
with .030 holes and that can be less if wanted..
what heads are yours.. econo or race

These are the race heads.I bought them bare from mancini a few years back when they was on sale. There isn't any oil feed holes in them and my current block I was thinking of installing them on is tubed. So I don't think they will work on my block.

You can drill thru the rear of the head, pipe tap it, and intersect with the rear rocker stand hole, and finally file a groove in the stand hole threads, then 2 oil lines to rear of block where oil sender goes.

I cant see your heads but there is a boss for the alternator on my set....it lines up nicely with the rocker stand hole. Easy job.
