Thanks for doing this. It's nice to see someone take the time to share what they know with others. up

Who is making one for a Mopar Mega block that has a NPT thread in place of a drilled hole? It seems all other dipsticks are too large for this threaded hole?

for this application, you would need to use a female "tube" fitting that matches the size of your dip stick with a male NPT that matches your block threads on the opposite end. to use the factory style dipstick, you would have to remove the "bubble" that seats the stick in the block, cut the stick tube to the desired length, attach the tube to the fitting in the block, then fill the pan with the correct amount of oil and mark the stick accordingly.

Great to see some discussion starting on the variety of Hemi oil dipsticks used,
& see attached of some of the related components used on the installation.

Here in a side-by-side comparison of the heat shield, about the only thing close to accurate is the overall color of generally white..

The mounting clip is dimensionally different, even though it has the same general appearance .... note the angular difference on the bend lines.

I had a hard time installing a repo, broke it off at the swage that is supposed to stop it from going into the block further. So 1 each compression fitting and tap the block, good as new and no one will ever crawl under my car to look at it.
