Would anyone recall the board member who was offering the aluminum bracket to install dual 3.5" speakers in place of the factory oval speaker in the dash?

A lot of my customers run this unit here from S & M electrotech (turnswitch) , especially popular with people who got our 180 watt stereo conversions ...A bit pricey, but bolt in ready . Just something to think about.

Thanks Greg. Does this set up work on a 1969 B Body? Does it clear the heater control cables?

That is my issue. The heater control cables are right where the left speaker wants to be with the dual 3.5 set up.

The magnets on those look small enough to clear the heater cables?
I used the bracket sold here around 2011-2012 and use the Infinity Kappa speakers that have large magnets and the heater cable would hit the magnet of the speaker. I converted to the Vintage Air A/C heater system so I could have A/C, and the kit comes with an electronic control panel, so I don't have any clearance issues now smile
