Just curious here, but how hard would it be to put ralley gauge cluster into a regular dash? Someone told me that it isn't to big a deal but from the looks of the two of them, I'm inclined to think it wouldn't be to easy.

Well, depends on what kinda car u r working on.

A body 70-up, not gonna happen. Need a new (rally) dash frame to install rally gauges

E body - same dash frame, just need the gauges, headlite, wiper ctrl panel,light bar, heater ctrl panel, and i think the radio plate IIRC.

B-Body have no friggin idea, Im sure others will chime in

** not to mention the dash harnesses are different, as rallye dashes have gauges and reg dashes usually have idiot lites. But again, depends on the car/model. On an E, u can use the same harness, just need to run a wire for the tach, and switch out the oil sending unit for one w/gauges and i think thats it.

68-70 b-body no way

i believe 71-4 b-body you can do it, like the e-body

just as previoulsy mentioned the wiring is different, but i know on an e-body it can easily be adapted

It's a 68 Coronet and I have the gauges and ralley underdash wiring harness. Just need a ralley dash and a friend said that it would fit just need a little trimming but like I said once I looked at it I wasn't so sure.

im sorry but ive never seen a non rally dash modified to accept a rally cluster w/o looking like a hack job

all of the lower dash pads + trims are different too

about the only items not needed are the dash pad, radio, deforst ducts, switches + heater switch panel

its a real bummer too because the windshield has to be out to access the dash frame bolts
