Can any of you guys suggest the best reference for a step by step not missing any steps assembly procedure for a BB or SB engine.

Ive had all the machine work done that I thought needed doing and so I need to get these things together but Id like to do things in the right order and too the best of my ability.

Im sure I can do it and Ive done it before but not frequent enough to feel confident to say I did this, this and that and not have someone come back and say well what about that!

You-tubes and the internet are full of half assed advice from what Ive seen so far in alot of cases, or I stuck making a post to find out how to do something and I get 12 different viewpoints which differ, gotta be someone on a site like this with so many skilled people that has taken the time to detail the steps so a guy not only builds it right but he also knows what hes built when all said and done?

If there were someone on this forum that didnt want to get involved online cause he didnt want to get into a pissing match but wouldnt mind tossing e-mails back and forth with me for a short time than that would be great also.

Im a smart guy and real meticulous and have the tools, just lacking the confidence from someone that does this sort of thing frequently.

Thanks

EDIT: I have most if not all my parts, Im not looking to have someone tell me I Fd up here with this part and should have done that there. I would like to enjoy this, life is too short.

Did you want to get into measuring everything with a mic also? What level of build will depend on the process.

Doesn't AndyF's book go into detail pretty well?
