Spelling and other important things aside, im glad they are making it. Makes the heads a little more obtainable without being forced into sheet metal or single 4 bbl. Definatly a good move.

Hello,

"Foundry Poored"??

Maybe they should change it to"Foundry Poured"??

Damon

I was hearing, the ( Foundry Poured ) was done
at the Edlebrock Foundry. Any truth to this?
If this is the case, then they should sell for
a fair price.

The Made in the USA deal on the intake looks like the same one on the edelbrock intakes.

And hopefully not 'pored' either! Otherwise there will be some strange fueling curves required...

Parts I seek: driver doorpanel, 65 Sport Fury, prefer black, needs to be 7-8 on 10 scale, might buy set 16" x 6" Dodge truck wheel(s), from early 70s?, takes 9" dogdish - need for a research job so cheaper is better. 69-73 C-body caliper brackets and/or splashields Send a PM.

Looking at it a second time, you are correct,
the tag looks just like it.

The intake looks just like the Musi Hemi intake
that (as told) is cast at the Edlebrock foundry.

That Edelbrock foundry cast a lot of stuff for
many different customers. I see Hughes has them
cast a custom intake just fom them.

Would you not think that this manifold is done by the same foundry that does all of Indy's other intakes. If you are only basing it on that one little logo, that is pretty much a standard thing that lots of companies use.

By the way, intake looks great Steve. I am sure a better single 4 is in the works as well.

what was so bad about the original single four?

I'm guessing this cast tunnel ram to be around 1K to at least half a sheet metal manifold

nice work Mr. Gillman

Nothing out of line about those prices. Just picked up a Pro-Filer TR for a Chevy, it was around $1300.

That cast manifold is less than half the cost of a good sheet metal ram. Build your motor around the preset runner length, and available plenum in that cast one, and you'd be really close to a custom sheet ram in power with a bunch O money left over, and if you backfire it cranking it, no big deal. Put plastic screws in it to hold the top on, and presto a burst panel that actually will save your manifold and butterflies.

They need to make a mockup motor or build one so we can see how this thing looks mounted with carbs
