Did 8 3/4" rear ends come with more than one location for the distribution block? The brake lines I bought from Y/O won't work: the RS one is too long and the PS one is too short as if the distribution block is in the wrong place.

Well, it certainly seems the concensus is I have the wrong housing. I WAS just going to order earlier B body lines, but now I can't help but wonder if I have an E body rear!

Anybody have a link to a list of rear end widths?

I ended up redrilling the A body axle I had to put it in the proper location and just Loctited a socket head set screw in the original hole .

Personally I would order the 70 set and move the vent to the correct location , I can't remember if the bracket for the flex line is bolted to the body or WELDED and if it's WELDED the early set may not line up correctly .

I will certainly check to see if the flex line will work with the stock bracket location and if not, I'll move the block.
