Hi All,
Project car. I have 4 wheel drum brakes, they are the big 11".
I would think there would not be a "special" hemi master
cylinder for manual brakes, but I wanted to ask and verify.
I think my only concern would be clearance for the valve cover.
Thanks !

You are lucky in that 4 wheel drum brake hemi cars used the same drum brake master cylinder as just about all the other drum brake Mopars from the era and thus aren't very rare. Disc brake hemi cars used a master cylinder unique to hemi cars which are rare and $$.

For the standard MC is there anyone selling just the factory type lids/tops?
I see that the RAM-Man has them for an outrageous price, but there has to be someone who is making them.

The master cylinder shown here presently sold by the aftermarket for this application has a lid that doesn't look correct. However, PG Classics and maybe still BE&A sell a repro bolt on replacement lid and clamp kit for around $75 that makes the aftermarket master cylinder look a lot closer to original.

I made the correct tops and have some left.

Check out a site called Pirate Jack. Someone has reproduced the original casting with the correct looking lid. Apparently the master cylinders were used on Chevys also.
