Just finished with Martin's 378 gen3...we made 555HP @6800rpm, and 469TQ @5400rpm with the Arrow intake. After we tuned the engine for this intake, we swapped on the Ritter intake and made some pulls. The AFR's were near identical, timing remained the same...the Ritter DP intake made about the same TQ @3000rpm which was 404-406 lb.ft. which we thought was pretty good for a small cid pump gas engine. After that, the Ritter intake took over making 577HP @6800rpm and 486TQ @5400rpm. So if you can somehow package the ritter intake into the car, it's going to make more power, however it also costs more...the Arrow intake is much shorter (I will post pics and more info at a later time)and doesn't give up too much in terms of power output, and costs less. Thank you to Rod for the intake, and especially Martin who has been an exceptional customer of ours over the years! Brian

Was this the tall Ritter with a Dominator?

The Arrow intake is 5.250 overall height, and the Ritter is 8.685 overall height.
IMM cam, 10.4:1, IMM valve train, TTI 1 3/4 headers and Firecore coils. We used Eagle heads with mild porting and slightly oversize Ferrea valves. 5.7 block, Scat 3.900 crank and scat 6.125 rods...Pistons were custom Diamond with deep reliefs.

Wonder what a 2" spacer on the arrow would have shown

Wonder what a 2" spacer on the arrow would have shown I'm sure that either a 1" open or 1" tapered spacer would have made more power, however you could also say that for the Ritter intake (from experience). So apples to apples with no spacer...once you go higher on the Arrow intake, you are not going to fit it under a hood with a small scoop...kinda pointless as the Ritter will make more power if you can find a way to package the engine/hood.

What's an IMM valvetrain consist of? Optimized stock rockers?
We use OEM rockers, I meant our spec'd valve spring/retainer set and valves as some are heavier than others and some spring's won't work as good as others...this valve train will go 7200 with no issues. Brian

Thanks Brian and w2stroker (Martin) for the apples to apples comparison.
That manifold may have to get some love from Brett Miller when it comes home.

Cool deal Brian, thanks. Can you give up any cam info? Just curious how mild or wild it was, peaking 6800 it was probably pretty mild and the engine could probably be in a minivan for 100K and be fine.
