This was the first Daytona shipped in US,sold at Grove Motor Co,Huntington,PA.35 mile from me.This was the same owner that I bought my bird from,I almost bought this car right after but passed. It had a dealer installed sixpack, cast iron intake.Somewhere I have a copy of the original sales order,if I can find it I'll post sale date.

First question, is it the factory Edelbrock intake or is it the aftermarket version?

Identification

My Intake does not have CHB6 and it does have the crazy 6 on the end with the long curl to it.

Sounds like an original manifold. Now whether it belongs on the car....all I've heard over the years is that there were no aluminum intakes in the '70 production run. But this is admittedly tribal knowledge that may be BS. I am a bit impressed with what the original owner did with the rear plug. The photos I've seen of the stock plug installation are nowhere near that nice.
