Is this something you can find out from nhra. Dont the weight breaks go something like 6.5lbs per hp in factory stock

The Ratings from NHRA are basically useless since they are rated Horsepower, not actual dyno figures.
Best off to look at weight and MPH to determine HP with a calculator.
Stock/SS cars are extremely efficient and scienced out, so if the calculator tells you they're making 900, it might be closer to 850 in the real world.

I think Barton still has the FS/B record at 156mph@3400lbs iirc.

We supply coatings to a GM nascar builder, in a few bench racing conversations, with one of his guys who runs a COPO 427 NA is doing around 1.7 to 1.85 HP per cu in, so you figure he's making between 725-780,according to him.... , now this engine builder has told me, he figures Barton is up around 790-810

I think they let them run a Windsor based engine. 7.0L is engine size allowed and I don't think DOHC Ford engines can get that big.

Racing (School of Automotive Machinists) says a 427 LS7 COPO makes 730 to 740 HP from GM and the work they did to theirs has made 825 HP.
