what jeads shold I use 452 or 906 I have a pair of each, the 906 look like they have been ported or gasket matched.

The 906 usually will outflow the 452 by a small amount, the valve seast are real important on all BB wedge heads, pick the set with the best seats BYW, the 452 had hard seats in them from the factory for unleaded gasoline and the 906 castings did not

The port/valve size is pretty much the same & I have never seen a set of(stock) 906's that were cracked unlike(a few)of the induction hardened seat 452's. If the 906's were ported by some one who knew what they were doing & another plus would be if hardened (ex) seats were added when they were ported.

not sure on portin and the 452 are not complete ulike the 906's ar ecomplete and look clean except painted., not all rusty either.

Are these going on the stroker you are thinking about ? If so you should have them flowed to see how good, or bad, they are as they will be the limiting factor on a big cube engine .
