Hit up the track yesterday with surprising results. Combo is a 2010 Challenger 5.7/6 speed. Cable drive throttle body, vvt disabled, 80 lb injectors, Bullseye 66mm turbo with 7 psi on 93 pump gas. Jeep weighs 3990 lbs. The 11.14 was on a really soft launch, by the time I started gaining on it the transmission wasn't playing nice so no 10s yet. This little 5.7 is a workhorse, I'm impressed with it. Made 535 to the tire at 5500 rpm last weekend.

No, I've gone a couple times with this one and also did Drag Week with it last year. Just picked up a bunch of mph since last time. Previous best was an 11.46 @ 120.2

Just the vvt locked out, injectors, throttle body, and truck oil pan to clear the crossmember. The front cover has been off to lock the vvt but aside from that the motor has never been apart. Still on the original spark plugs that I re-gapped to .030 because it was blowing out spark. It's actually on the original clutch as well. Motor and trans have roughly 63k miles on them, 6500 of those with the turbo setup.

Thanks! I know it won't be the most popular here but it's on a '71 Chevy C10 chassis shortened 17" and reworked suspension. The whole truck is a mutt, whatever works and is cheap.

Drove it to the track again yesterday and put the best stats from those two slips together. Went 1.57 sixty and 10.97 @ 125.2 on the first pass. Slapped on the 315/35r17 hard street tires and managed a 1.99 sixty, 11.50 @ 124.2 on the second attempt. Super happy with this simple motor combo.

I was going to say you have the mph for 10's. I know boosted cars usually mph more then N/A as I am but glad to see you got your 10. It seems N/A usually 60 ft a little better then boosted cars also but you are running real good. Ron
Yep, there's definitely a good bit left in it with a good clutch and some suspension changes. I just don't want to sacrifice handling for et since it's built to do autocross with. The 11.50 was in full autocross trim and the 10.97 was just a tire swap, no suspension changes.
I'm still amazed at the mph, it's 10 mph higher than I ever thought it would be.

I did something different with it this weekend, did my first autocross. My friend drove it to 3rd in CAM combined, I didn't do as well but still had fun.
Some updates. The red Jeep got wrecked last summer and I built a new one. Same drivetrain. Did pistons/rods and no other changes other than upping the boost. The little 5.7 and s366 keeps performing. Has been 10.90 @ 130 on the low profile Continental street tires and 10.38 @ 132.6 on a 28x10.5 slick. The 10.38 pass was actually very soft, only went 1.56 sixty foot because the clutch was on it's way out. Has been 1.46 so should go a good bit quicker with all that mph in the Spring.
Also drove it from Michigan to Atlanta, did Drag Week, and drove it home. 2805 miles in a week and 13 passes.
Have also done some autocrossing with it, you can see how linear the power is and how little lag the tiny turbo has.
