Yea it's a transbreak, the old one was 4000, I haven't pulled the pill and checked the new one yet, Lenny from ultamate set the new one up for 5500, the old converter was out of round and was a basket case, locator snout would bottom out in the crank before the flex plate would mate up to the bolt holes, it was a 10" to and my new one is a 8", I honestly don't care if it runs exactly the same, but picking up a little et is always fun.

Lenny did my 8".. it was a 5000 stall but this
is for my Rampage(street rod) so I asked if he
could tighten it up to help the slippage.. this
is on a 518 trans so it has OD.. from what he said
it should be 4500-4700 and less slippage so I'm
good with that
wave

OK I shipped this thing late last week and they ripped it open and all is well and he thought the same thing as far as stall jumping up from 5150-518 to 5800 since I upped the shift point to in the 7000 rpm neighborhood. Should be finished and shipped back to me tomorrow (Thursday). Can't wait to get a no adder small block in the 5's in the 1/8 and reach for more later on with a roller cam and more head flow.

1970 Duster
Edelbrock headed 408
5.984@112.52
422 Indy headed small block
5.982@112.56 mph
9.42@138.27

Livin and lovin life one day at a time
