Anyone have any specs on what size Artillary Wheels were available for Dodge Trucks, I am assuming they could be had in a 5 on 4.5bolt pattern? What years where they issued? Were there ever artillary wheels for the other three companies Desoto,Plymouth, or Chrysler?

That's a huge subject.
First, what is considered an artillery wheel is wide. See these pictures

Second, what year range are you talking about for what you want to fit them on?
They were available in the late 20s through the early-mid 30s on many cars, IF you are talking about the metal spoke type. The pattern back then was 5X4.5, so that part may fit. You still have to consider center register hole, lugs (my 47 has bolts, not studs and nuts) and maybe brake clearance issues.
I will also mention that something like this is fairly rare and there are collectors. You need to figure out what they are worth to you and others...

this link from the HAMB shows the style I am talking about (see second post). Artillary Wheels

I realize they arent common I was looking at an older chrysler sedan or a 1950 Dodge truck cab hot rod and was wanting these wheels for it.

Yep, what little I've learned about those wheels was from going to a few swap meets (sticker shock!), a couple mentions in mag articles often in relation to the milk wheels, and on the HAMB. I realized that there were a lot of different wheels, all of them were fairly rare (expensive), and that you rarely found a full set. They also are not sized for modern rubber, so unless you are willing to buy them and then cut them up, your tire choices were very limited. This may not be an issue for you. There are some companies that offer new ones, but they are not the same as the old Mopar style.
On HAMB, there are more threads on them. 13 pages worth!

This is the cheap way to go.

built it in a more traditional style and would not want to use billit wheels. Looks like the artillaries are out so I will just have to go with some steelies and some moons or maybe just some saltflats.

Now those look like a bargain. Wish they came in some other height (16" or 17") but those are original looking wheels that don't appear to be billit.
