When I removed my bench seat I noticed the wire that runs between the bench seat adjustment levers on the seat tracks was loose and just hanging in space. Should the wire be supported by something attached to the bottom of the seat or just loose as shown in picture. 69 manual does not cover this specific topic. Also before removal seat was hard to slide forward and back.

Wayne;

You should have a "hook" that pulls and suspends that wire to the front of the seat, essentially removing the slack. Now you know why the seat mechanism wasn't functioning. It's probably still there, but if the hook is gone, you can easily fabricate something, just be sure it's pretty stiff, so that when you pull on the cable it will overcome the springs in the tracks and not just pull apart.

And where I can find the wire - that's what I need.
