Oops....I guess I should have mentioned that.... But still, for 29 bucks I gotta see what it'll do. There's Harbor Freight about 1/2 mile from my office.

An oxy-acetylene torch can also be used, result is much the same as TIG. This is how it turned out for me after a little practice on some scrap metal.

I used a steel rod from the hardware store (as a punch) that matched the size of the original spot welds. Much better duplication then tig weld marks.
