My Father in Law has a 1050 carb that he needs jets for. He has 106, 108, 110, 112, 114, but needs 116 or maybe bigger. The jets he has look to be like BLP special jets. The rear has the extended piece on the jet itself acting like a jet extension. I looked on BLP site and am a little confused as to what size to order. He needs 116 and according to their conversion chart a holley 96 would be the same as a BLP 116? Is BLP the only place the sells their own jets and are they the only ones that have the rear jet with the extension on the jet itself?

Yep, just call BLP and order what you need.

Just call. You can get up to .173 in .001 increments for the 1/4-32 jet thread. What fuel is he running, how much power is the engine making, and what is the main air bleed size? What model number 1050?

It is a 4044-1050 and he running Sunoco 110. The engine is a Ford 460 stroked to a 557ci making 760hp at the flywheel. I am unsure on the air bleed size.

Seems like a lot of jet and again, what bleeds especially highs cos w/.037 main bleeds, I needed lots of jet because it just couldn't pull the fuel.............

I believe the carb has .046 for the Idle Air and .031 for the Main Air.

Like asked, what model number and if it's a 2 circuit a .068-.070 idle would be my starting point along w/a .026-.028 main bleed but it also depends on the emulsion set up..............
