vehicle '04 dodge ram 3500 dually cummins diesel original headlite lens halogen bulbs wanted more lite bought 40w LED's plug & play the worked but disappointed in lite quality, son in law got a genssi digital HID conversion kit came with 55w genssi ballasts turned on & they flashed on & off never steady on. Tried an HID capacitor & still flashed. took whole kit out & parts store had HID plug into ballast, factory plug & 2 wires out of ballast, turned on lites they worked, started truck & with working HID's the lamp out message on dash reset. 2 days later went into truck hit remote & noticed headlites didn't momentarily flash, turned headlites on & they 2 were flashing. son in law sent 2 new HID capacitors, & nothing, no lites at all, took capacitors out, & HID's now are working, but i'm sure will flash again, & don't need this happening while driving at nite. What the heck is happening here, I think the truck has the can buss system in it but I don't have 2 reverse polarity on plugs am I missing a part, wrong mixture of parts, if I cant solve this, i'm back 2 installing the LED's & then having 2 look at projector lens. All suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dave ss/ea #1355 fury

Get stronger halogen bulbs?

My newer Durango has HID lights and I don't like them as much as the Halogen conversions on my old PU. I kinda like a good Halogen setup.
