I didn't ask for anyone in particular. Like some of the other posts, the answers to my questions were a bit vague. However, the end product works great! Hands down the best converter I've run.

I need to contact them soon to discuss my new engine combo.

I rang 3 companies when looking for a converter for my old 440, J.W and Ultimate suggested a 9" around 5000 stall, max torque was 4800, ATI recommended an 8" 5500 stall.

I only live about an hour away (WITHOUT TRAFFIC) from Baltimore, where ATI's been for decades. So, they're definitely a local company to this area's racers. But I've found it odd that when I've asked people at the tracks here about ATI, more often than not people tell me I should go to << insert the name of any other converter company >>.

Doesn't seem like they have a strong presence in their own backyard. Is ATI much more connected w/ the class racers (Stock, Super Stock, etc.) than Joe Average bracket racer?

Lots of bracket racers run ATI converters here in Ohio.

Another vote for Charlie. Have got a couple contingency checks from ATI for running their Treemaster converter so I'd say Charlie did good by me thumbs
