I want to restore my jack for my 69 Dart. I have a couple of questions.

1) Did they make Jack mast mechanisms dated every month or were they made in lots? My car is a March build date on Fender Tag, so would a B9 date code (Feb. 69?) on the pin head be correct?

2) In the picture there is 2 different base foots. The black one has a U69 on it and the grey one nothing. The gray one is a little larger square. The black one is more square in shape where the grey one has a contoured side. Any idea which would be correct?

3) What color should it be black or grey?

4) I have several tire irons of different shapes and length's. Any idea Gingrich would be correct?

Ha! Same problem - 3 tire tools, and I don't know which one came with my car.

Well I guess no one knows whats correct? WOW!! Never thought no one would be able to ID the correct parts.

I'll get you a pic of my 69 340 swinger, all original stuff still in it.

cdp, see it you can measure the lug wrench as well, length of the lub part before the angle and length from the angle to the tip of the pointed end.

It helps me too, at some point I have to think about the original jack for mine. Of course mine are just lowly 340 cars.

I can snap some pics later of the jack from a 69 dart I painted recently... as far as I know it's the original.

This jack came from a 69 Dart 4dr and is all original including the paint....

When I bought my 68 GTS and the car arrived I found the jack assembly in the trunk. It was painted black. The car is now restored. If you like I can take a pic.
