I'd like to see a picture of where the pull knob for the fresh air vent on the pass side goes on the dash for a '68 Roadrunner please. I'm converting from a/c so my car never had a cable operated pass side vent. Thanks!

Here is a 69 charger pic. It should be the same as your 68 rr.

Oh ok cool, I didn't realize it was that far over. I love how Mopars really made everything so the passenger had a hard time fooling with it! lol Now I just gotta find one!

The a/c box is too big, heavy, too much garbage for what I need. Plus I don't want to have to deal with vacuum operated doors with a motor that will not pull very much vacuum because of the cam and such. I'm looking for speed, not numbers matching resto. If a cable operates it, I highly doubt I'll have a problem down the road unlike the vacuum system. Plus, I'll never install all of the a/c components so that'll look cheap to have the a/c evaperator fittings sticking out of the firewall with nothing attached to them. Plus, less money, heater core is less than half of an a/c unit and the heater box rebuild kit was less. Just a no brainer for me.
