Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a current part number that would work as a fuel tank sending unit sock, and a brass float that would be available from a local Chrysler dealer? I got the part numbers out of the tech archives here but my Dodge delaer told me they were discontinued. Was hoping to pick something up this weekend locally, someone mentioned that you can use a ford part number on these and had good results as well? (5/16 line)

The search is your friend

Hey thanks! That part number in your search link says its for a 3/8" sender. I need it for a 5/16 sender. I tried to use the search feature to find out more but for some reason I get an error saying that the search words I used are to short??..I typed in "fuel sender sock" and they still say its to short...not sure whats up with that...

Do you have a valid part number on that? Usually, in my neck of the woods I cannot get any parts from any dealer unless I have a full vin and thats still sketchy as they look at you all funny especially if you told them to look something up for a car from the 60's and 70's. Around here they just tell you, "sorry, without a part number we cant help you"....Fun wow..*sigh*

The 5/16 inlet filter is a d1fz-9a011-a. But it is very expensive $22.26 list as of today! The float I have seen reproed, maybe try A&M Hightech?

Thanks for all the help guys, I checked all the parts stores and the OE part numbers from dealers in my area and the computers showed that none of the dealers in my area stocked the parts, all special order. Not a big deal I guess, I will just order them off the net somewhere. Thanks for the info guys! as always, I appreciate it!
