Thanks! He does have experience on motocross bikes but I told him he has to listen to me. I don't want him to do a tranny brake launch until he is familiar with the car. He is also responsible for half of all expenses of the maintenance of the car which he has no problem with.

Sorry to hear about the fire Ted. Glad you were not hurt badly. Congrats on having the new driver! ![drive drive](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/drive.gif)

Got a new best timeslip on my first trip to the track in 2016 and a class win on my last. Had daughter number two in September...might be taking most of 2017 off from racing, but it's ok.

I am in the same boat as Monte. Good riddance to 2016, was a horrible year financially for us for sure. Did not race at all other than some test hits in a friends car that did not end well. We blew up the heads up car in Norwalk so more than ready for 2016 to end. Still living on both coasts and will be for another 18 months, so not much chance I will be racing much til 2018 honestly. Hopefully can at least get the new car to the track this year, if not maybe the classifieds instead....

Thank you Ted and Happy New Year to you and all my friends here on Moparts. I had a fine year as I did nothing special and did not change anything on my car but I had fun driving it as always. I did get told by a photo guy for Mopar Muscle he will be doing a 4 page spread on my car for the mag. He said he is in Philly which is about 1-1/2 hrs from me and he will be getting together with me to do a photo shoot when the weather breaks. So hopefully all goes through with that. Ron
