A buddy of mine just picked up a '66 Fury that currently has no gas tank. I looked around but did not find vendors re-popping these. Any one got a tip on where to look?

Or... is there anything else that would fit this application with minimum hassle?

Thanks.

Spectra Premium doesn't list one for a 66 but they do for 67. Some people on the C-body boards have used it and IIRC the only difference maybe was the number or location of the vent ports.

They list no vent, 2 vents and 4 vents.

Just click on the fuel delivery tab.

Thanks. I see what you mean, if you choose 66 as the model year, they don't list a tank.

What's up with that? Why are these tanks so hard to find?

Be glad its not a 65. Those have side filler ports and are impossible to find good used ones.

They used to list for 65 and 66 rear fill C-bodies like Dodge and Chrysler but no more. My understanding is that the vents are different between 66 and 67 up and it is the 67 config that they build now but the tank is otherwise identical to a 66.
