Its a black , 68 black grip steering wheel. Looks nice, just need to clean the caked on grime. Thanks, Rick Gorski

Like Kevin said, the purple cleaner stuff works real well on the grime. It was Castrol Super Clean but I think it may be under a different name now. Just look for the purple bottle. An old tooth brush will get the crap out of the grainy areas like horn pads, spoke covers. Be sure to rinse well with clean water then use some kind of protectant like Armor-All to repel future grime.

I used something called Spray Nine (from Pep Boys). Nothing worked for me until I found this stuff. Melted the dirt and grime away.
You can lead a gift horse to water, but you can't look in his mouth.
