chrisf OP master C Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,948 British Columbia	just researching colors and finishes on nos door latch assemblies. i see some silver/bright cad and some other with a yellow tint. is this a yellow cad or a cosmoline coating? just looking for whats correct

ACR2000 enthusiast Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 317 Canada	Depending on your car model. E / A body were silver zinc many B Body were gold. And yes some were coted with cosmoline style protectant which gave them a yellow tint.
