Figured id follow up here.

Wiseco whos parent company also owns K1 Je and others took my pistons, recoated the skirts, sent replacement rings and locks and covered shipping both ways, all in three weeks total.

Great company with great service..

Very nice service. I just hope that the coating is more adherent to the pistons than the last set.

Just curious which oil filter you run?

1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's
1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

Just an off the shelf filter, not a wix or such.

I might change up but at the same time ive never had a filter issue using a std. filter for break in purposes.

I think I can fire it again tomorrow so we shall see how it goes.

All the bearings looked great, kinda surprised as the pickup screen had a nice collection going but it is thin and non abrasive.
