I'm looking to pickup a 1973 challenger and one problem it has it the column collar where the key goes is completely destroyed and missing a huge chunk. I have a 1971 b-body column (both are floor shift) and wondering if these interchange or i will need to find one from another e-body?

No tools, no keys huh? At some point in it's life? Funny the crap we can find. Don't know on this one. Maybe just use the whole column you have? You might have to lengthen or shorten the shaft to the steering box. Maybe you could measure how far it sticks out into the driver area from a mounting point and compare?

I should have said that if the 'collars' are interchangeable and not to use the whole column. My bad, sorry.
