If I remember correctly they were HR/70/15 which I believe equates to 235.
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I've got a stepside Dodge with 28" tall tires that looks like a pretty stock tire size to me, mind you I'm about to do funny things to mine.... I don't think 225/70/15 would be too far off...?

The 79 4x4 had 31x10.00x15 goodyear tracker a/t's as the largest tires fact installed. Mine too, Tracker 10-15's. Still was wearing the factory tires when I bought the truck.
