The low gear set that Mopar use to sell for the 727 had a different 2nd gear ratio than the standard stock 2.45 gear sets had, I don't remember that ratio now whiney
That car went the fastest with that low gear set up and rear gear ratio boogie
I did notice that it went into high gear sooner so it did spend more time in high gear than it did before also work Thinking back now I kinda wish that I had made one change at a time but I didn't. The Aluise family in Maryland ended up with that car in 1990 and spent a lot of time and money on turning it into a rocket ship, it held the NHRA AS/A record a number of times in the 1990s.
I wonder were it is now shruggy

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

"Breathless"? Remember it well. It was bad. IIRC they got jammed up with tech over something in that car. No clue where it is but I bet I could find out. They may have it stuck in a building somewhere.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
