There will probably be someone there renting golf carts, but in my opinion they shouldn't. The event is SO large, with so many cars, that the spectators on golf carts and other vehicles clogging the pits is a real nuisance. It makes the pits virtually impassable and nearly impossible to get your car back to your trailer. Just my opinion, but if you don't have a racer armband, you shouldn't be allowed a vehicle of any kind in the pits

Monte, I am 63 years old, my back (operation)is shot, my 2 knees are shot I would like to travel the pits. I see they charge a fee to have a golf cart there. If I don't have a golf cart I will be stuck in the stands all week.

I understand some have a legitimate need.......but the spectator lot at some of these big heads up races, look like the pits of a Golf Cart Nationals or something. Every car and truck has a trailer where they brought a cart to "cruise" around in. You can't do that at NHRA and other races, without special approval. I am just saying these races need to be the same. The carts are out of hand. And now guys are bringing those jacked up, 4 seat Razors and the like. Some are as big as a damn car. It ridiculous

We were pitted inside the circle track back in February, it took us close to an hour to tow back to our pit after a pass. I was extremely irritated at the people just walking in the road, clueless of someone behind them towing a race car. We literally had to dang near bump people before they would move. Be patient and prepared to rub elbows with people trying to watch the races

It ridiculous I've been at two events this year where spectators couldn't hardly get around safely because of the golf carts, let alone cars. I understand that those that have a disability &/or seniors may need a cart to get around, but i've seen teens up to 30 somethings that weren't with a team driving them around.
