What you going to do for a hood?

I think the blower was cool but made it hard to hook with all the weight on the nose

Not even this filter will clear the factory hood but maybe if I turn it.

I would take the foam out of the filter most likely but we will see.I have a bunch of filters but no drop base so I will see when I get the hood on what I need.I hope to still use the blower but at a reduce OD% like 3% where I made 8#.

Late 60's Chevy "L88" air cleaner base is 14" diameter with a ~2" drop IIRC, designed to work with dual inlet holleys.
