In the process of purchasing this brand new crate 6.4 Hemi, I plan on using a truck front cover so I can put the accessories up high, this cover won't allow me to use the intake on this motor so what are my options? Any aftermarket intakes that might work?
Also, is there anyway to dress up the motor with more chrome to eliminate the plastic and make it look more "old school"?

What are you putting it in? I have car acc in my Dart and there are a few B and E bodies doing the same. There are truck 6.4's out there.

The truck front cover really limits the intake choices to truck intakes or 4bbl style. If you have the room, can you reverse the intake? For dress up, there are some aftermarket valve covers, but they can be pretty pricey. Try shophemi.com You can reverse the intake?

That is definitely a good reason for the truck acc drive, that or turbo's.

If you want carbs, your truck would really suit the Edelbrock 2x4bbl intake as well
Edit:I think the Edelbrock intake is only for early 5.7 heads

Is that a carb or fuel injection manifold? I would like chrome valve covers, or ways to get rid of the plastic

Sorry for the delay!! My car has had an engine swap now for almost 10 years. Here are a few pics of my engine compartment. The first pic is a built early 5.7L with my sheet metal cross ram. The second pic is a stockish early 5.7L for R&D with my intake. [img:left]http:// [/img] [img:left]http:// [/img]

Joe, here is the deal love your Intake Manifolds But want more than just a dual plane for the stroker 6.4 I am building But as you know the Weber/ritter drag pak intake is too much for street due to torque loss on low end , I will be running Nitrous occasionally . Any plans on making one ?

I am working on a prototype crossram/tunnel ram hybrid that has 8.5" long runners and uses Holley Hi-Ram tops. I do have a prototype in a sheet metal being made but the cast aluminum version won't be available for a while. All I can say right now is stay tuned. I'm working on it.
