I have found that are some people that just don't want to take the time and some just don't have the talent or tools to do the job. Most realize that the vast majority of the Chinese repops just don't meet the standards of the original part.

I think I found the right size ball bearing to replace it at a local transmission shop. It was easier to take apart than it was to put together. Are the reproduction seat tracks not any good? I hadn't heard anything about them. I was considering buying a set, but I think I've managed to get enough extra seats now that I can use originals. Tav
