0.030 preload which is 1/2-3/4 turn past zero lash if i remember right.

If they were from a sold cam you will need shorter pushrods

When I bought the Cuda, the engine was rebuilt and not in the car. It had a 292/509 cam and these rockers it was a real dog. I put the car away for the last 6 years until last summer. I changed a bunch of things including the cam. I put a Comp Cam XE274H in along with a RPM intake and 750 eddy carb. Much better. I want to use the rockers on my 70 charger RT when I rebuild the engine.

how u like that cam i hated it made the car smell like a gas pump

Normally for street driving you will want about .040" preload.
