My bud bought a big inch Hemi from him. He recommend a huge roller cam for the street. At that time he used Norris rockers. Three pushrods cups and adjusters burned up from lack of oil after less than 1000 miles. He recommend a new set of roller lifters and we bought three new adjusters and pushrods. I did not like the new lifters so we used the old one and just replaced the broken parts. That lasted about 1000 miles before 8 pushrods and adjusters burned up. We called him back and this time he said that he never put Norris rockers on ANY of his motors. Hmmm. Ok. This time we called Tim Banning. He said Norris rockers are bad about not oiling and burning up pushrods, especially with big roller cams. We bought all new stage five rockers and have not had any more problems. After 7 years of trouble free operation, I think we fixed the problem. Cam is still too big though. After all the trouble you have had with your Hemi, I would not use anyone but Tim. I'm building an alum Hemi from Tim right now and he is a great source of parts and knowledge.
Other than the rocker problem, the motor runs fine and makes plenty of power to destroy two Kesler five speeds. Now that's another story altogether.
