The greek king of the gods has his own fasteners?

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

The correct name is Dzus, for reference. Maybe try posting this in the race section, too- no doubt someone there has installed them.

Here's a webpage to check out: http://wolfcentral.net/multistrada/garage/dzus/Dzus%20Installation.htm

Check with the racer stores that advertise in Dragster; they have Dzus brackets & receiver wires, even kits. Basically you have a bracket & the wire receiver for the button, which you pop-rivet to the bracket. Typical bracket installation to the car also by pop-rivets. Height of the buttons varies depending
on thickness of material being fastened, or where the button and/or receiver wire need to be. You'd be wise to also use supports; for my thin 'glass hood, there's a 1/2x1/2 length of angle aluminum to keep the hood from sagging.
