rebel master Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 4,647 aotearoa	Guys, I'm down here & ive been to some burnout competitions where they've fitted engines to the sofa/couch, & a motor to a Shopping trolley with street tyres n do hell burnouts like this vid. On our Friday nite boy racer drag meets we often have burnout comp after racing. The Skyline boys are the best at total destruction. Never a dull moment at a good down under burnout comp. There's usually a wet tee shirt comp too.

Burnouts are BIG in Australia, don't get all sad about cars being damaged, these things are looked after and burnouts are the biggest prize money motorsport around, $10,000 is common winners money 1963 Plymouth Max Wedge 1971 Barracuda

(I know all about the fire burnouts of old, but these look like they are self-sustaining). Yeah I wouldn't really want to bend a car for the sake of a burnout, but I can't argue with good old fashioned tyre-smoke!!
