I went to the Dutch to see the Shoot-Out and saw the 1st couple of rounds, Good show but didn`t see a 40 out of Bucky. It was great having Mike announcing, it just goes to show how into this deal he is, flying East just to see the show and announce. I heard him say that Mr. Holton is sick and that the West Coast team will be there next year. I hope his illness is not serious and look forward to seeing the team there next year. I saw alot of people with Mopar hats etc running for the stands when the Hemi cars were called and judging by the people looking at them in the pits I think the crowd was into it. I liked it and will come back next year.

I spent 4 days at the Dutch. The Hemi Challenge was outstanding. Got to listen to Mike Ogburn as the "color man" in the announce booth. He was really very interesting and really added alot to the Challenge. Thanks Mike. Racing was great. Even saw Bullet Bob Reed finish a time trial run in the wrong lane. Still turned a 9.10 in front of the other SS car. Really nice driving.
Wolkwitz brothers unveiled Earthquake II Barracuda. The car is absolutely perfect. They did not run the new car but Earthquake I turned some pretty good times.
I'll try to post up some of my pics, took over 200, just of the Hemis.
It was Hemi heaven, with 30+ SS/AH cars present.

Does anyone know where I can find the qualifying list for the Hemi Challenge?

Hi Jesse ~ I'm in Vegas. Had a continuing education class today then heading out to the track tomorrow for parking & tech. Dad is on his way here. He's still real weak but, heaven forbid, he should stop and take a break. LOL The damaged motor has been torn down and the block sleeved. The big job is still to come and that is fixing the head. Anyway, we will have all 3 cars here with various bit and pieces of motors. Good thing it's the end of the season!! We won't be in Pomona.

Julie, is the team staying for the divisional? I'll be there trying to manage a 2 digit number for the Challenger in SST.

The Hemi Challenge at the Dutch will be on Inside Drag Racing ESPN2 this Sunday, November 12 at 12 noon. The coverage will be a few minute synopsis of the event and an interview with winner Jim Pancake. The show will be rerun on December 7th at 2:00 p.m.

Has anyone heard of any rule changes for next year, I know they shot down the rack idea but wonder if there is gonna be any motor changes since they are really moving.
