As most of you know,I never made a full recovery from that cerebral hemorrhage I had in June of 2013. Driver bad1970dust(Jimmy) is on vacation. If my grandson shows up today to help repair my kinked fuel lines we may take the 64 out this weekend. A buddy of mine that used to run an 8.90 Omni will be in the drivers seat. He hasn't driven for a long time so we are planning on going out and having fun. Any round wins will be a bonus! wave

Sorry to hear this boomer but on the bright side, fix the kink and sit back and enjoy the show while your baby makes some trips down the strip again............

Not a lot of car owners/drivers ever get to see their own car in action. Your attention is just on driving. There is a lot of satisfaction watching your own car go through its paces. Now you can see what others have seen so often.

Thanks everyone! Fuel system is repaired and the new glass front bumper is installed. The car just headed south and it may rain tomorrow. I would like to see a 6.25 in the 1/8th but it is gonna be humid. wave

My wife and I made it but the car and driver didn't. He was waiting for a customer from the Twin Cities to pick a truck up. He runs a repair/restoration business. There will always be another time. We caught up with old friends and watched a couple of rounds in between the rain showers. Got to talk to Lonemopar and daughter Karrisa. I let her drive our 2014 Challenger SXT around the pit area and she loves it! Maybe cheapie dad will buy her one!!! I did enjoy myself and am more determined than ever to beat this health issue. I was very close to listing my car for sale but that aint gonna happen!! drive

Glad you still enjoyed yourself. Keep your head straight, and your car straighter.
