my 92 Dakota cruise quit working,i replaced the switch with a used one that tested good,it quit in a couple of days, the switch and clockspring are both obsolete,i really want my cruise to work ,so i ordered a aftermarket switch off of ebay, its a rosta switch that slips over the end of the turn signal lever,or in my case the tilt lever,4 wires on switch and original truck wiring, different colors dont ya know!,luckily i have a FSM for the truck that has a wiring diagram in it,matched up the wires and it worked correctly the first time,no more clockspring!,(horn hasnt worked for over 10 years) im feelin pretty happy for a old man who cant hardly see the wires nor get situated around the bottom of the column due to my big belly and stiff joints
