Wasn't Charlie Westcott doing a new car for Rich Beshore? I thought I heard or read that early this season. Is this the stick car perhaps?
By the way, Doc Beshore is a great guy.

Not to be a total dick but why does every racers name that uses Modern Cylinder Heads have MCH next to it? Must you really say what heads and intake they use? Why not put their tire manufacturer too? Or maybe the guy that does their chassis?

My point is it takes more than just heads and intakes to get these muscle machines from point A to point B.

david,, just stating who i do stuff for.. shouldnt put that you guys built those guys motors either,, since it takes more tahn a motor to go fast,, right. so i did nothing,, and you guys did nothing.. is taht the way you look at it?

dave,, i changed my above post,, is that the way you would rather see it?

i seen my brothers post below as i was editing this post.. i dont care to get into any drama with this,, so i dont go along with that post.

Ok Mr. 9 posts , if you spent some time on this website you would see that they give alot of free advice they don't get paid for, they are very helpful to the other racers on this site.

Jealousy will get you nowhere! Quit your crying. This thread is for people that do not get to the track to know what is happening in this class all the time. Your probably 1 of the best drivers in the class. So chill out and keep riding your Dads coat tails!

Look, use Pancake for example. He has a good chance of winning the Indy Shootout. But not just because he has a Barton motor. It would be retarded for us to take most of the credit. My own car hasn't gone as fast as Jim since he became a customer. And sometimes I even have more power. That's all I was saying. I'm not jelous. I'm not crying. I'm not trying to take anything away from MCH. They're great guys. I was just making a simple statement. Give credit when credit is due. And I'm sorry I don't have the time to make over 2000 posts.

If you guys get this thread locked up because of your there are going to be many P.O. people here.

I understand what both of you are saying. BOTH of you guys have done ALOT for these cars and the growth of this class but it's not just about flexing muscles. These Darts and Cudas are at the top of the food chain when it comes to NHRA Super Stock racing. Both of you have helped keep them there but neither of you, by your self got them there.

I would like to thank both of you and everybody else involved in the developing, building and racing of the SS/AH cars. You have made NHRA drag racing fun again.

Now lets play nice.

....there is nothing like driving my 1968 Hemi Dart around town and having people looking at you like you're nuts!!

Man, you people are really good at putting words in my mouth. I never meant to piss on MCH. What is the matter with you?

Your defintely right about Pancake, he has been putting alot of effort into making the car use every bit of power that motor makes to get him down the track! If you go back a page or two in this thread you will see that somebody ask for this list to be made. Who's using who's motors and so on. I find it very informative. Mr Nobody has been on the ball with alot of info.

My personal opinion I really do not think this class is at the top of the food chain. Look at the corvettes in SS/AA right now, flying with a single carb!

Vette with a single carb and cylinder heads that the car never saw and a motor location that is half way to the trunk.

The SS/AA corvette is allowed to run replacement cylinder heads that are far away from what was originally produced for that car - whereas the replacement Hemi head is identical to the original head. corvette head vastly superior to the original head

Bill Collett Crashes his SS/AH car today in Norwalk,Ohio. Looks like he lost an trans and fluid got on the slicks and he lost control and hit the wall on both sides and then the car caught on fire.

See DRC under IHRA for full story.
