Okay everyone I got a question. I have a 90 Ram 150 2wd and it currently has an 87 318 bolted to a 5 speed manual transmission. What I want to do is put a 90 360 and bolt it up to the manual trans. Now the 360 was originally bolted to an auto trans. So can I just take the fly wheel off the 318 and bolt it to the 360 and put it back together?

No. The flywheel will need to be balanced for the 360, it has a different balance then the 318 does.
You will also want to be sure the 360 crank is machined for the pilot bushing for the 5 speed, most are, but some are not drilled deep enough, or machined smooth. Gene

What's the process for getting the flywheel balanced to the 360? What do I have to do? Is there a possibility of getting a flywheel that's already for a 360?

That's a pretty involved process. There's pics around the web showing the location/size/depth of the holes that need drilled in the back side of the flywheel to balance it for a 360, but I'd just buy the right flywheel. But it's not a bad idea to locate those pics so you can see if the one you're buying is properly balanced.

when I went manual 5 speed in my 85 truck (NV4500) I replaced the fly wheel with one from discount/auto 130$

I would do the same with a 90 360 engine, just buy a replacement flywheel that has correct balance.

what 5 speed do you have?

A535? NV3500? NV4500?

you might want to use the newer style pilot bearing for the 92-93 magnum engine D series trucks. ask for a pilot bearing for a 93 Dakota 5.2/5.9

it fits the crank hub and is a roller bearing. fits in the larger hub that the TC snout goes in.

if you use the smaller bronze bushing type you need to make sure the smaller pilot hole in crank is drilled deep enough to fit.
