Wow, I never knew he passed. I was thinking about him the other day wondering why he hadnt been around fabo.

Last I knew he had started driving a truck cross country I believe and was enjoying.

Sad to hear.

I think about 4 years ago? I knew Don from years in the Mopars Unlimited Seattle Chapter club. Great guy. Loud, boisterous, but with a postive outlook and he LOVED mopars. His brother is now trying to sell the barracuda (I am pretty sure its the magazine car) that had a 380hp 360 crate in it and ran solid twelves on street rubber as I recall. I can get info anyone's interested. He served as president of the club and did a GREAT job.
RIP Don!

Seems more like 1 1/2 to 2 years ago.

They've had the show at the XXX for 2 years now. The year before it was at the college and he was there. I'm sure.

'08 - '07 - then in '06 he was there, I'm sure.

Yes - he was shot to death in his home.

Did a search I could not find the info. Man that sucks!! I went to a party he had during one of the MATS, he was a great host and sure dug his moparts!!

RIP prowler

Diego

Wow, I did not hear about this. He bought a T/A that I used to own. We talked on the phone several times and then when I was in Vegas I stopped by for a visit & he gave me the keys to the prowler & I took it for a spin. Seemed like a super great guy. He had a lot of cool Mopars over the years! RIP DJ

Don flew down to Springfling in 06. I had my Dart there Since I was doing the swap meet and the Show Don drove the Dart for me. I'll never forget the big grin he had when he drove it into the show. The last time I talked with him was just before his passing. I was trying to locate his 66 cuda that he had to sell when he got laid off fromk Boeing. Unfortunately Don passed and never was able to locate the car.

Does anyone know what happened to the cars? I hope they stayed in the family, but not all family members share the same love for the hobby and lots of people watch BJ Auctions...

...I hope they stayed in the families.

'UNLAWFL' stayed with Officer Davis's family. Don't know about any of the other cars.

not sure if he was member here::

FYI, Tuesday Steve Walls of Yorktown and more recently Hartford City, Indiana was killed in a freak accident, the only reason I'm posting it is Steve was a BIG Mopar guy. Not sure if any of you knew or dealt with Steve. I know his job took him all over the midwest and Steve was always looking for old Mopars and parts. Steve was a great guy and will be missed. His obituary is: http://www.thestarpress.com/article/20090130/OBITUARIES/901300330/1023The article about the accident is:http://www.wabashplaindealer.com/articles/2009/01/29/local_news/local1.txtSorry if this is off topic.ThanksChad

Sorry, but this is a real morbid thread. How about all the members who weren't as popular or widely known and were left off this 'list'?? Let's look on the bright side. Let's celebrate all the members who make this site what it is:; the best.

We lost a member from Gulfport MS 2 or 3 years ago. Unfortunately I cannot recall his name, but it seems like it was GTX something

RIP to all.

Did he have a white 70 GTX with black top, interior, and gold side stripes? He had lung cancer, I've been trying to remember his name. Seems like it was probably as long as 5 years ago now.

I remember the '70 GTX- white w/gold stripes and black top. I believe that guy's name is Doug Dufour(sp?) Yes, it has been awhile since he passed.

A couple friends of mine died in an accident, coming from a junkyard run, I'm thinking maybe '02? It was in Columbus Ohio.

MoparScott was one's username, he was on here and Mo par Style mostly. He raced a brown 79 LeBaron. The other one was known as "Archie" as he looked like Archie (the cartoon one).

He (Archie) gave me the name "Magnumguy"

RIP guys.
