Does anybody have a pic of the grille and headlamp bezels on a 1969 coronet r/t. We are trying to redo bezels and grille for a customer car. just want to see how they are painted Thanks

Are the headlamp bezels siver and black or just polished and black? Thanks Again

I believe they were silver and black, except for about a 1/2 inch bead around the outside edge which is shiny (I believe they were anodized first and the edge looks shiny because of this instead of being polished). I have wondered about this myself and have looked at many, and all seem to be painted. Then I buy a 69 440 series 4 door, and the bezels on it have never had paint on them!? So maybe it depended upon the series of the car. Anyway I believe the bee's and R/T's were painted. If anyone knows for sure, speak up, I would like to know for sure myself. I attached a pic of the "Butter Bee" from an A12 website.

They all had the silver, the only thing that differs is the black out. 500's, Super Bees and R/T's were all blacked out the same while Deluxe's and 440's were the same.
