will a LA small block bell work with an A block motor? if not what would i need?

The small block bell for the LA will bolt up to the poly. twocents

I agree.Swapped a LA into the 66 Charger Poly and it fit great.I think 1 bolt dosent line up.Been a while since we did it.Rocky

Correct. On the Poly, the two bolts below the locating dowels are the same distance center-to-center on driver and passenger side.
On the LA motor, the passenger side bolt is in the same place, but the driver side bolt is located halfway between the Poly location and the dowel.

Thanks, John. I will add that when I put my LAengine to Poly bellhousing swap together there was enough room to drill that last bolt hole. I like to have that bolt right below the dowel.
