Julie, I heard that your team is coming to Maple Grove for the shoot-out at the Dutch Classic, is this true? I hope so the air is real good at the Grove in October.

The plan, if we don't have major parts damage at Indy, is to leave our rig at Jeg's shop in Ohio after that race. Then we'll do the Dutch. If we have to bring cars home I doubt that we'll make the long tow back east a month later.
I'm hoping we get to go. I've long wanted to race at Maple Grove and spend some time seeing the countryside back there.

julie, the dutch is the end of october,, so thats about two months. isnt the sportsnationals in fontana the end of september having a hemi shootout? will you guys miss that one then? or only catch one of the two?
chris sent me an email and clarified all the visnar head/manifold stuff with me. i heard he was doing your dads heads and manifolds, but then you had all the old hogan stuff on the cars in belle rose,, visnar also tells everyone he does westcotts stuff but has never sold him or sent him anything. i dont see why someone would want to get into this stuff to where they would give their time/labor away, but from what your dad tols me awhile ago, thats what visnar is doing,, if it works you guys will buy it,, if not,, here it is back.

Jeff,I could see someone doing that if they had something that needs to be tested,before they invest more money into the project.If it makes more HP and good ETs.They have a winner to sell to other racers,If not back to the drawing board.and the cost would be cheaper than buying your own car to try products on.

Here are a couple of John Baughman testing at Cecil Co. this past Saturday that I "stole" from godragracing.com. I was there watching. He ran a best of 8:96 I think. The slowest run I saw him make was a 9:02.
