My 1970 Dart currently has a disc brake setup that I swapped over from a '74 Dart. That means it has the 10.87" discs and the slider calipers with the A-body size 2.60" pistons.

My question is can I switch to the B-body calipers with the 2.75" pistons? Would I need different caliper adapters? Will it improve my braking if I go to the larger pistons?

Thanks for any guidance and info!

Some see the glass as half empty, some see the glass as half full. I just drink straight out of the bottle.

No need for B body calipers, just use the later model A body calipers. They all changed to the 2.75 piston in '75 or '76. Most rebuilt calipers will have the larger pistons in them.

76(only) A body caliper is 2.75" but I'd measure what they pull out for you to make sure it isn't a 73-75 2.60"
