Hi - I'm starting the restoration on my 69 dash - does anyone have photos of survivor dashes or correct restored? My concern is holes. On my frame -which is original - there is a line of holes under the top - behind the pad - looks like for molding . Not sure if they were all drilled like that. I have the same holes on a coronet dashframe - and I would like to see what a correct dash looks like. thanks -

Are they thr holes underneith the over hang directly above the gauge bezel? If so, they should be there for trim

Are they thr holes underneith the over hang directly above the gauge bezel? If so, they should be there for trim There is no bright trim, other than the chrome ring that is installed on the gauge cluster, of a 69 Road Runner. Plymouth B bodies that have a plastic face over the steel dash ... Satellite , Sport Satellite and GTX have a piece of trim that goes all the way across the top of the dash , this piece is not on a Road runner or a Belvedere. photo borrowed from : http://a12mopar.com/yabb/Attachments/068.JPG

Right, but those holes should be punched in regardless. Pretty sure even a 70 rally dash even has them

Right, but those holes should be punched in regardless. Pretty sure even a 70 rally dash even has them Quite possible? I never really paid attention to that when I was parting cars, dash frame usually went to the crusher with the carcass ...
